The problem
Your accounts end up scattered.
Savings sit at one bank, investments at another, and every job change leaves a retirement account behind somewhere else. Retirement accounts are where this goes most wrong, because the ones you forget are often the largest.
$1.7T
in retirement savings sitting in accounts that people have lost track of.
30M
retirement accounts disconnected from the people who own them.
Odyssey Money brings it all together. Connect what you have, search 260K+ employers for what you left behind, and see the whole total.

What people ask before they connect an account
What is Odyssey Money?
Odyssey Money is an account aggregator. You connect the accounts you already have, see them together in one place with a running total, and find out whether that total puts you on pace to retire. Searching for 401(k)s you left behind and projecting your retirement are things the aggregator does, not separate products.
How do I find a 401(k) from an old job?
Search your former employer by name. Odyssey Money holds records for more than 260,000 employer retirement plans in the United States, and a match tells you the plan name, the custodian holding the money, and where the plan sponsor is located. From there you can connect the account and it joins the rest of your balances.
Is Odyssey Money free?
Yes. The free plan includes the 401(k) search, the portfolio dashboard, and the basic retirement calculator. A paid plan adds more account connections, advanced retirement scenarios, and full portfolio management, and you can upgrade from inside your dashboard whenever you want it. Nothing expires and no card is needed to start.
How does Odyssey Money connect to my accounts?
Through Plaid, the same connection layer used by most major financial apps. Odyssey Money never sees or stores your bank credentials, and the connection is read-only, so balances and holdings can be read but no money can be moved.
Can Odyssey Money move or withdraw my money?
No. Every connection is read-only. Odyssey Money can read balances and holdings to build your picture, and it has no ability to transfer, withdraw, or trade anything in your accounts.
